We spent two years developing our Patrol front sway bar kit, and have now sold many kits to happy Patrol owners. 

A GU Patrol was the test and design bed, which we certainly put through it's paces along with the DFI light torsion bar until we were very confident in the product. Like all our sway bars they are supplied with real heims that are all double captivated at both ends of the link, this kit is supplied with our light torsion bar and will be supplied that way unless specified otherwise.

Soft for the majority of daily drivers that like a little more control on road and less body role going into corners.

Medium for the more hardcore weekend warrior and winch trucks.

Heavy for the short course or the guys that just like their rig to feel like it's on rails. (This option IS NOT recommended for any rock crawling work).

This kit replaces the chassis cross member under the fan. It is our recommendation that only experienced fabricators undertake installation of this kit.

We have put a lot of time and money into the development of this 95% Australian manufactured Sway bar. The only part that is not made in Australia are the heim joints and that is because no company manufactures them within Australia.

The Designfab Patrol Sway Bar Kit is not a white label product, we spent the time to design something entirely from the ground up. Using published information, testing and data gathered by inspecting broken sway bars, combined with the 30+ years of experience manufacturing torsion bars we believe DFI have a superior product to most entry level products on the market.

The torsion bar is slowly heat treated not flash heated like most. Doing this creates a longer lasting tension that is less likely to develop a memory. After heat treating they are machined again to produce a smooth surface. This extra process removes all the weak points allowing it to work harder and last longer.

Our sway bars are offered in light, medium, and heavy, with a custom order option also available.
